Breathing Device Levels

Most people with COPD find it easy to start with a Level 1 device and then either progress to Level 2 or keep using Level 1.

People who are new at practicing mindful breathing will find Level 1 device easier to use.

But for those who already practice mindful breathing, Level 2 device may be better.

Breathing Device Purchases

A case and lanyard will be included for each purchase of a breathing device. If you would like to order more lanyards, each additional will be at a price of $2.50 per lanyard. Available colors: Black, Navy Blue, Green, Pink, and Lavender/Purple

The two levels of PEP buddy (Level 1 and Level 2) have different levels of airflow resistance and hence create different levels of back pressures. You may find that a certain Level works better for you. 

Most people with COPD find it easy to start with a Level 1 device and then progress to Level 2. For those who practice mindful breathing or pursed-lip breathing, Level 2 device may be better to start. 

People who are new at practicing mindful breathing will find Level 1 device easier to use.

        Ik gebruik de pep buddy nu 1 week en ben erg tevreden.

        Ik heb er 5 extra besteld om kado te geven aan mijn COPD "vrienden" om het ook te gaan testen. (Nog) Niet te koop in Nederland en leveringskosten van UPS erg hoog, maar het proberen zeker waard.

        I notice when my husband is walking his oxygen saturation stays up longer. I find it helps with mucus removal.

        So simple, yet effective

        It's just a piece of plastic; no batteries, no charging, nothing to break or replace. I had been practicing a new breathing pattern, but this device makes it easier. The little bit of resistance feels like it's building my muscles to expel air. Easy to carry, use and clean-no problems!
